Grown-Up Getaway: An Adults-Only Escape Aboard the Disney Dream!

Disney cruises aren’t just for kids- there’s plenty for adults to enjoy, too! On our Disney
Dream cruise, we took full advantage of the grown-up offerings, like the adults-only pool
area and the thrill of riding the AquaDuck. We joined a champagne tasting that was both
fun and informative, tested our luck at bingo – twice, and got creative in a Disney sketch
class learning how to draw Pluto! For some of us, trivia games brought out their
competitive side, and we found time to browse the onboard shops for souvenir
shopping. It was the perfect mix of fun, relaxation, and a little Disney magic—not just for
kids!

While sailing on the Disney Dream, we decided to indulge in a day of pampering at
Senses Spa. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and offered plush robes and
sandals, then escorted to the locker room. The facilities were impressive, with spacious
shower stalls, a steam room, and an array of luxurious amenities. As a bonus, the spa
showers were significantly larger than our stateroom shower. For an extra dose of
relaxation, you can opt for a day pass to the Rainforest Room, which has an array of
different showers, heated loungers, and complimentary beverages. Prior to our facials,
our esthetician conducted a thorough consultation, guiding us through each step of the
treatment. The stunning views from the treatment room definitely added to the
experience. It was incredibly relaxing!

Now, for the best part of the cruise for both kids and adults, meeting Mickey Mouse!! Guests
on a Disney Cruise will have many opportunities to meet some of their favorite Disney
characters throughout their sailing. Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Donald, Goofy, Pluto and
Chip n Dale all offered meet and greets during this sailing, with the times listed on the
Disney Cruise Line app. Princess fans can pre-book the Royal Gathering, which allows you to meet
four Disney Princesses at once and is truly the most magical experience.

Now everyone’s favorite topic, the food! Disney is known for amazing food and their attention to detail. Whether you’re seeking a gourmet dining experience or a quick snack by the pool, the Disney Dream caters to a variety of tastes and preferences, ensuring a memorable culinary journey at sea. Dining aboard the Disney Dream offers a delightful array of culinary experiences, from elegant sit-down meals to casual bites and indulgent treats. If you have a food allergy they are the best at making sure that everything you eat is safe just as they do at the parks. Here’s an overview of the dining options available on the ship:
